About Amino Apps
Amino is a social media application and it is most characterized by online communities that are based on interests. Narvii, inc. was the first to develop it. Yin Wang and Ben Anderson were the brains behind the idea and initial formulation of Amino.
Amino was initially developed in 2010, and released as a complete mobile application in 2012. In the course of time, it used to provide an opportunity to unite and discuss interests of the fans of anime, gaming, movies, music, and various other themes.
MediaLab AI Inc. purchased Amino in January 2021. MediaLab has now taken over the application and the initial founders no longer belong to the application.
